I’m the founder of Mia Borja LLC, where I step in as a Growth Operator for solo founders and entrepreneurs who need more than ideas. They need clarity, structure, and execution.
I help fix what isn’t working behind the scenes, align the front end, and build the foundation their business actually needs to grow without everything depending on them.
My path here wasn’t linear.
I started at seventeen answering phones at a law firm, then moved through TV production, software development, and venture capital. Over time, I found myself inside growing businesses, first as a virtual assistant, then as an online business manager.
But the work I was doing was never just task support.
I was creating clarity.
Building structure.
Executing the pieces that moved the business forward.
Untangling operations.
Fixing what was slowing the business down.
Helping founders stop being the bottleneck.
That realization led me to step away from the agency model and build something more intentional: working directly with founders who need someone who can see the gaps, organize the moving pieces, and help get the right work done.
What I Actually Do
I bring clarity, structure, and execution to the parts of your business that feel scattered, stalled, or harder than they should be.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 🇧🇷
Raised in Pasadena, California 🇺🇸
Spanish heritage 🇪🇸 by way of Mexico 🇲🇽
I’ve also lived in Lima, Peru 🇵🇪, Asunción, Paraguay 🇵🇾, and Bridgetown, Barbados 🇧🇧, experiences that shaped how I see people, business, and the world.
After 20 years in Orange County, I relocated to Eastside Long Beach in 2020.
I’m a proud mom of two grown sons and two very spoiled Chihuahuas, Vinny and Paulie.

Outside of work, you’ll find me walking my dogs, sitting in the sun, gardening, listening to music, and always on the hunt for a great sushi spot.
Fun and Random Fact
I have no sense of smell.
For over 30 years now.
Doctors don’t fully know why, but it was likely the result of untreated sinus infections years ago.
It’s strange, slightly inconvenient, and somehow still hasn’t slowed me down.
