ABWA Wind Song Charter Chapter
The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) Wind Song Charter Chapter are an established national women’s networking group with a Southern California chapter in Huntington Beach, California. The group wanted to find a website platform that would be easier to maintain than WordPress. They also wanted to refresh their chapter logo. I was able to use their existing brand colors but added a few shades and tints to give me more palette choices.
I built the site using Squarespace and their marketing assets using Canva.

Client came to me with this vibrant color pairing or turquoise and cherry red. I was able to add a few more shades of grey to balance out the colors and provide monochromatic depth to the website without going off the rails.

They wanted a refreshed logo for their chapter marketing assets. The older logo on the left and refreshed logo on the right incorporating their vibrant colors on the right.
Using the original site as the content foundation, I was able to improve navigation and extend their brand throughout the new site highlighting their mission statement while speaking to their target market.

Created a series of images for their blog posts and events, as well a favicon and a bordered frame image for their executive board and their individual members.
search engine optimization: meta descriptions
Squarespace makes it very easy to optimize each page on your site with meta descriptions and SEO titles. I added individual meta descriptions to each page as well to all of their images.
